On October 15th, 2009, Dr Richard and Naomi Nurgitz, from Ontario Canada, will be off to Israel for their 6th time at DVI, where Richard will once again volunteer to provide dental treatment for Jerusalem’s needy children.
Being cycling enthusiasts and because Israel is one of the best countries to cycle in, Richard and Naomi are bringing their road bikes with them and will act as unofficial guides for another cycling couple who have never been to Israel. The group will travel to various areas from Tel Aviv where they will ride along the Mediterranean near Haifa and the Carmel, they will circle the Sea of Galilee, climb to areas such as Safed, Mount Tabor and through the Hula Valley into the Golan. In all, they hope to cover over 400 km.
Richard and Naomi are dedicating their ride to the DVI clinic in order to raise much needed funds for the daily operation of the clinic.
